Types of Content
The app supports a variety of different types of content that are designed to engage your members in different ways. The descriptions below provide examples of when you might want to use content type.

Promoted Posts
Roles: Administrator, Contributor
Have some important news to share? Perhaps you've expanded to new locations, added new staff members, or just want to share an update. The promoted post is a great way to communicate that to your members. When creating a promoted post, you can select to either post as yourself or as the facility. If you select facility, your app icon will show as the posting avatar

Resources (Explore library)

Found a great blog post or video you want to share with your members? Add it as a Resource! That will post it in the stream and catalog it in the Explore section - an always-on resource library. The Explore section categorizes Resources by their format: article, link, video, podcast or book. To make your content easier to consume, the app integrates with several content providers: YouTube, Vimeo, Soundcloud and Kindle Books.

Topics
Roles: Administrator, Moderator, and Contributor
Topics are designed to be conversation starters. They're stylized as questions or fill in the blank prompts in the stream that members can respond to. Topics are a great way to build engagement and get your community talking.

Inspirations

Inspirational posts are a great way to encourage your member. These posts help to prompt users to open the app and check out what's new.

Helpful Tips

App members sometimes have questions and often you get asked the same thing by lots of people. The Helpful Tips feature allows you to catalog those questions and your tailored responses to them. On top of showing up in the stream, all Helpful Tips are stored on their own dedicated page so members can browse all the questions that might apply to them.
